De bastaard van Vonnegut

Ik pik er enkel deze uit omdat het het enigste boek is dat ik niet ken en omdat Verhaegen het vergelijkt met Vonnegut.

Kurt Vonnegut did have a bastard son, and his name is George.
TBAFROP is easily the best book I read last year, or was that two years ago? It's extremely short and caustic and hiccuppy funny and incredibly sad and very true and a metaphor for the Iraq war and the Bush regime and much more timeless than that and in the British version it is apparently coupled with In Persuasion Nation which starts with the funniest short story under the guise of a letter ever written. Plus, and this is a secret, I once was at the same university as Saunders, and although he treacherously declined my wife's invitation to the party we threw for the first award Omega Minor ever won even though she mentioned how much of a fan I am, I still wrote the dean the report that got George Saunders tenure. That's how much of a fan I am."
